Product Listing Optimization

A listing is not filling every attribute; it must be findable in search, instantly understandable and credible to hesitant buyers. This skill optimizes search intent, selling-point order, visual proof and review feedback.

Workflow

  1. 1

    Collect real search terms

Collect 30 terms from search suggestions, ad reports and competitor titles, then group by traffic and relevance. Put only the three to five most relevant terms in the title; do not stuff.

  2. 2

    Reorder selling points

The first selling point must be the buyer’s most important outcome, not a spec. Write five bullets as outcome, proof and use case, each under two lines.

  3. 3

    Prove claims with images

Each image answers one buying question: size, material, usage steps, comparison or scenario. The hero shows the product; the second image explains the core benefit. Avoid all-text posters.

  4. 4

Iterate with reviews and ad data

Weekly, review negative-review keywords, return reasons and ad search terms, and add frequent questions to the detail page. Observe for at least two weeks after changes instead of editing daily.

Recommended prompts

FAQ

How long should a title be?

Follow platform limits but prioritize readability. Include brand, core category, key difference and use case, and remove repeated words.

Will editing a listing hurt ranking?

Large, frequent edits can hurt stability and test attribution. Change one module at a time, observe for two weeks and keep the old version for comparison.
