AI Product Photography

Product imagery is not about a pretty picture; the product must not deform, colors must be accurate and the selling point must be clear. This skill starts from a real photo, generates background and lighting in layers, then checks every output.

Workflow

  1. 1

    Prepare a high-quality base image

Capture or obtain white-background, front, 45-degree and detail shots at sufficient resolution with even lighting. Fix obvious flaws first; do not expect the model to repair product structure.

  2. 2

    Generate scenes in layers

Lock the product subject, then generate background, surface, lighting and props separately. Change one variable at a time and keep seeds and prompts for reproducibility.

  3. 3

    Preserve color and structure

Use the original product’s color values as reference and check logo, ports, buttons, materials and proportions after generation. Reject any structural change; do not accept “close enough.”

  4. 4

    Export multi-size ad assets

Crop for 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 16:9 placements with safe zones. Pair each set with three selling-point captions and ensure the product is recognizable at thumbnail size.

FAQ

What if I lack professional photography gear?

Shoot a clean base image with natural light and white paper, prioritizing accurate structure and color. AI can add background and lighting but cannot recover missing detail.

Can generated product images be used in ads directly?

Check platform rules and product consistency first. Claims about efficacy, materials or usage scenarios need real evidence, not just generated imagery.
