Learning & ResearchBeginner20-40 minutes daily

Language Immersion

Vocabulary drills do not create fluency; real input and output do. This skill uses interesting content for input, AI as a low-pressure speaking partner and errors as review cards.

Workflow

  1. 1

    Choose comprehensible input

Choose podcasts, videos or articles you understand 70-80% of, on topics you genuinely enjoy. Too hard is frustrating; too easy stalls progress.

  2. 2

    Speak for ten minutes daily

Role-play with AI: ordering food, interviewing, meetings. Speak freely without interruption; afterward correct only the two or three errors that most affect understanding.

  3. 3

    Turn errors into cards

Make one card per error: your sentence, the natural version and the context. Recall it on day two and day seven instead of only doing multiple choice.

  4. 4

    Do one real output weekly

Each week write 100 words or record one minute of speech, have AI rewrite it naturally, compare the differences and record new expressions.

FAQ

Can an AI speaking partner replace a human?

Not entirely, but it offers frequent, low-pressure practice. Use humans for real interaction and unpredictability, and AI for daily warm-ups.

How long should I study daily?

20-40 minutes of quality input and output daily beats a three-hour weekend cram. Consistency and weekly real output matter most.
